Ana Merino (born 1971) is a Spanish poet.

Biography

Ana Merino was born in Madrid in 1971, daughter of José María Merino. She is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Compañera de Celda (2006). She has won the Adonais and Fray Luis de León awards for poetry. An English translation of some of her poems, Cell Mate,was published by Harbor Mountain Press in 2007. She is currently Assistant Professor of Spanish at Dartmouth College, and is married to artist Felix de la Concha.
